Structural
South Gate Engineering designs and builds structural components to customer needs. South Gate Engineering can provide platforms and ladders as an attachment to our tanks but also can provide these items as stand alone. South Gate Engineering also fabricates structural skids as mounting platforms for various types of equipment. South Gate Engineering fabricates in accordance to A.W.S. and O.S.H.A. requirements. Welders are qualified and tested in accordance to A.W.S.. Also, South Gate Engineering is well versed in the rigorous requirements of design and manufacturing of large structural platform and skid components for offshore applications and can provide material traceability and non-destructive testing in strict conformance with engineering specifications. We offer a variety of coatings and can offer galvanizing for certain size components; please consult factory for galvanizing capabilities.
Piping & Internals
South Gate Engineering designs and fabricates piping in strict accordance to Power Piping, ASME B31.1 and Chemical Piping, ASME B31.3 in carbon steel and stainless steel materials. We offer full service non-destructive examination to customer specifications or code specification and have a 50,000 gallon hydro test facility. All of our welders are certified to ASME and maintain continuity to all qualified procedures. We offer a variety of paint systems suited to our customer’s specific application.
